• Made what is widely described as a Nazi salute at a campaign rally
• Donated $291 million to Trump and the Republican Party in 2024 election cycle, helping ensure rightwing control of the White House and Congress
• Intervened in Germany’s 2024 elections by openly supporting neo-Nazi party Alternative fur Deutschland (AfD), which went on to win second place and become the country’s largest opposition party
• Secretly funded Stephen Miller’s anti-Trans, anti-immigrant PAC in 2022, moving the media narrative far to the right on crime and other moral panics

By funding Trump, Stephen Miller, and the return of the far right to the White House, Elon Musk bought himself a whole new government department: DOGE. Under the false guise of “efficiency,” Musk’s cronies infiltrated the government and either shut down, took over, or stripped for parts the departments and services that working people depend on.

DOGE is the tip of the spear for the billionaire class. It’s not just destroying the basic government services we rely on like food inspection, public school support, and Social Security. It’s replacing them with new, far worse privatized versions with the explicit purpose of enriching Musk and his oligarch buddies. So what if our food gets contaminated, our kids go without teachers, and our retirees go hungry? He’s firing all the regulators who would stop him.

Deportation Industrial Complex

Elon Musk has close ties to Stephen Miller, the architect of Trump’s deportation machine and policies like the Muslim ban and the expansion of ICE. In 2022, Musk secretly donated $50 million to a Super PAC tied to Miller which was responsible for running notably racist and xenophobic attack ads during the 2022 primaries. Miller’s wife, Katie Miller, left DOGE to work for Musk. Musk has repeatedly boosted social media posts by Donald Trump attacking immigrants, including notably taking a break from feuding with Trump about the Epstein files to boost Trump’s screeds against anti-ICE protestors in Los Angeles.
